Her passion for contact lenses led her to complete the Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at the University of Houston College of Optometry. There, she gained invaluable experience in fitting medically necessary complex contact lenses, such as scleral and corneal rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses. Additionally, she worked with children on managing their myopia with orthokeratology, multifocal soft contacts, and atropine. She received the 2021 Sheldon Wechsler Contact Lens Residency Award from the AAOF. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry (FAAO).
Dr. Chen is dedicated to providing excellent optometric care and looks forward to seeing patients for their primary eye exams, contact lens fittings, eye disease treatment/management, and myopia control.
