Dr. Christina Kim grew up in the greater Seattle area and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at the University of Washington. She then graduated with honors at the University of California Berkeley, School of Optometry, where she received clinical training at the San Francisco Veterans Affairs Health Care System, UCSF Berkeley Outpatient Center, and the Meredith Morgan Eye Center at UC Berkeley.
Fascinated by how many health conditions affect the eyes, she completed a Primary Care and Ocular Disease residency at the Veterans Affairs Portland Health Care System in Oregon. Her residency provided the opportunity to practice full scope optometry including diagnosis and co-management of diabetic/vascular eye disease, glaucoma, dry eye, cataracts, and age-related macular degeneration. She is also certified in fitting Paragon CRT lenses and is excited to work with patients interested in myopia control.
Dr. Kim is also fluent in Korean.
